Savy Shopper

I got some great deals today shopping! I hate to shop so I was proud! I am in the market for a new coat but I couldn't find one. I have worn northface coats since I was a kid and now everyone wears them so I want something different. Any ideas let me know!! Last night Scotty and I went out to eat to get Mexican. Shocker. He is so over Mexican but its my all time favorite. I can't help it!! And yummy margaritas! Who can resist! We went to a bday party for my sister in law at their house. It was a ton of fun. We didn't get home til 3! Hunter for the first time ever spent the night with my in laws. I didn't nurse from like 4 on til noon and I woke up at 7 in pain. I didn't realize ho much I obviously nurse lol. I am still a little sore! BUt we ahd a really good time. It was nice to have an adult night! I felt really old when we pulled up at Crystals at 230 in our minivan lol.
Hunter has been cracking me up this weekend. Every time that he toots or burps, he laughs. He thinks its the funniest thing ever. He has been throwing everything. We have a nice dent outside his door on the hardwood bc he is always throwing stuff! Earlier he was in Caroline's room and she went HUNNNNTTTEERRRRRRRRRRRR stop that! I said what is he doing and she said he is just getting on my nerves! LOL It was so funny! BUt they play so well together and are always hugging and kissing and laughing so I can't really complain. She is very sweet with him. She tries to be his little mommy.
I finished my Twilight series books. All 4 of them. They are the best books I have ever read. I read them in like 4 days lol. I couldn't put them down. I can't wait to get in a hot bath tonight and start my new book I got for Christmas, The Host. I am so sleepy! Christmas is exhausting and the work before it and after have drained me!! I am off to go soak in the tub and relax! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

That was fast!

All this work for Christmas and its already over! We had a great Christmas. The kids are so spoiled. I have already invested about 5 hours cleaning up the mess from Christmas and I am still not dpne yet! Our garage is full of trash and boxes. I will post some pics later! Caroline is playing with all her stuff. Hunter is throwing it as he does everthing! Oh joy! lol I guess I had better not lack and clean! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I can't wait to do some shopping this weekend!!!

Christmas Eve Night!!!

I am so exicted for christmas tomorrow! I can't wait until Caroline gets home. I have literally been wrapping for 3 days now! My entire living room is full of presents stacked on top of each other! I was really bad this year! haha! I just love to see the kids open stuff and be excited. Its a gift in itself! We got a beef tenderlion and shrimp from Tagz to make. Scotty and I are going to get up early and do out christmas for each other then make breakfast. We are having brunch with my inlaws and brother in laws. After that Scotty's is going home to set everything up and the lights and the music while I get C. I am siked! The fam is coming to watch the kids open their presents. I just love the holidays and being with my family and hanging out. Its my favorite time of year! I am going to go back to wrapping! I hope everyone has a wonderful christmas!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Almost Christmas!!

I can't believe that Christmas is only 3 days away! I have so much to wrap. I still have stuff being shipped fedex and ups. I wish it would hurry up!! I tried to wrap last night but I got totally distracted in my book and it never happened that's my goal for tonight! Last year I sat up til 4 am setting things up and wrapping and making sure everything was perfect. I don't want to do that this year. Well I don't want to be wrapping that long and i had already wrapped a bunch of stuff. So I am going to get some of that done tonight! I am working on ordering the rest of my pictures from 08. There are so many its taken me all weekend to get them together. I know some other people have done it but I think I am going to do a 365 for next year. I got my 5D. Its amazing. I love it.
We had a pretty low key weekend. We went to a bday party on Saturday. Then I decided to go do some shopping with the kids. I took Caroline to get her nails done. She said I want to go to nails so happy lol. So we went. It was cute. We are having a nice quiet week with all the excitement coming up. Caroline is already planning her next holiday, party for New Years! lol I am like we have to get to christmas first! I hope everyone has a great week!!

Prayers

A girl that was in my moms group awhile back lost her daughter today to a heart condition. Its so sad bc she was so young and beautiful. I feel very sad for her family and sons during this time especially being christmas. It just puts everything in perspective when something like that happens. Anyway just say a prayer for for them and their little girl. And go and love your family tonight.

Niceee....

Its so nice outside! We got up and it was rainy and windy. We went to ihop to breakfast and it was ugly. When we walked out it was warm and windy! It's like spring! I love it! I opened all the windows from some fresh air and we have been playing outside! My mom and I are getting ready to take the kids to the movies. I need to finish up some last minute christmas shopping. I am almost done. I don't know why I have spent so much money, we bought the pottery barn kitchen stuff and a wii and little stuff like baby that C wanted and toys etc but all Caroline has been talking out is a baby that pees. lol
I went to the gym today and the kids were in the nursery and when I came in the said Hunter had been pulling hair and running wild lol. I was like sorry! It amazes me how different he and Caroline are. She is so quiet and calm and mild mannered. And he is SO loud, well I take that back, they are both SUPER loud, but he is loud and wild. he throws stuff all the time, and pinches and acts like a total boy. But they are sooo sweet together. They are all hugs and kisses. But if anyone else, kid wise touches Hunter he gets mad. But he loves all over her. He is a full time workout. I really don't need to go the gym! lol We have been trying to do our christmas cards for over a week now but Hunter wants no part and every time we sit him down he throws his body down and screams and yells. I have like 200 crying pictures lol. They are HILARIOUS! So last night my very best guy friend Don http://donaldyeagerphotography.typepad.com/ came and redid their pics. We have done some shoots together. He is awesome! So hopefully I will be able to mail some cards out soon! lol Well I am off to get ready to go to the movies. I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day!

Touchy Subject

Well I hate to talk about either because they are both touchy subjects, one being carseats. I am not a total carseat nazi but I want my children to ride in a 5 point harness with a tether as long as possible. Something like 80% of carseats are installed wrong. I have always had Britax. I have a couple roundabouts, a couple marathons, a regent, and a frontier. I have a Peg pereggo infant seat which I def won't use again bc it gets hot. But anyway. I want my kids as safe as I think they can be. Studies show that seat belts aren't made for a 4 year olds body. I am not going to go into a huge rant about it bc I know its a touchy subject with people but I am really irritated bc I found out that my x and his gf who are equally unintelligent, drove her to Murfreesboro in a booster seat. I have bought him a carseat. He has a marathon. I am going to buy him another carseat when she outgrows that one. I have offered to buy one for his moms car so her riding in a booster seat wouldn't be an issue bc I know they don't have the money to go buy a carseat. I am not saying I expect them to buy a Britax just a carseat with a 5 point harness and a tether. I know they can't afford that. I said I would buy it! I am just upset. The least he can do is keep her safe in his time. I don' think that I am asking much. You just want what you think is best for child and when you can read research that tells you something is best for your kids you want that. Watch this little video clip. Every time I see it I am glad Caroline is in her Harnessed seat.
