Girl day!

Today we went to Chick Fila to meet my friend Linz and her baby girl. We had a nice time. I love me some Chick Fila. I love their salads. After we left there we went to Walmart and we bought body glitter, hair glitter, nail diamonds, icing, sprinkles, makeup, and some other princessy things. We dropped Hunter off with my mother in law and came home for a girls only afternoon. It was so nice to just spend time with Caroline. I could tell she was really needing my attention. I have been a little bit distant lately with all the stress I am under right now. We made sugar cookies with my gramas cookie cutters. While they were baking we did Carolines hair just like they did at Disney at her princess makeover. We did her makeup and painted her nails with diamonds in them. t was so fun. Then we decorated our cookies. She is so sweet and made one for everyone. After that we watched a movie and ate popcorn and colored. I love to color lol. She was loving all the 1 on 1 attention so I am definitely going to do that more often. I have definitely had a hard time dividing my time between Caoline, hunter, Scotty, and my house hold chores, and my computer time. So I am reorganizing my time. If I want to blog stalk and check email I get on when Scotty leaves for work and the kids are snoozing still. I periodically check during the day still but I don't stay on. And night time is my time to do whatever. I am cleaning first thing in the morning and straightening up at bedtime. I have struggled in balancing all these roles. So I am working on that. I want my kids to know and feel that they come first above everything else. I have been praying for solutions and answers and I feel like God has sent me a message. So I am going to follow my heart right now. 

Anyway, I am going to head to bed. I am pooped. 

The weekend

We had a really busy weekend. I am exhausted! Friday we spent the day with Robin and Baylee. We took the girls bowling and it was really fun. They were so cute rolling their bowling balls. They went soooo slow! But it was really cute. Baylee came home with us and the girls had a slumber party. then Saturday I assisted my friend Kate at a wedding we had been planning for awhile and I had an awesome time. I learned so much from her and I feel so grateful for her helping me like that. We are doing another one next weekend. I can't wait! Caroline had a slumber party at the Beasley house. She had a great time. I got her this morning and we came home and  cleaned up some and went to Publix. I have done a million loads of laundry. I am trying to stay on top of it. We have a really busy week. I am trying to better use my time so I planned to do a lot with the kids and do my stuff late at night or early in the mornin. SOmetimes when Scotty leaves for work I go back to sleep for an hour or so when I barely get any sleep so I am going to start doing stuff in that hour so I can spend more time with the kids. Caroline and I have't had much alone time doing stuff so tomorrow we  are having girl time and getting our nails done and going to Chucky Cheese. I am really excited to just have girl time. Well I am going to get in my warm bed and catch some  z'sssssss so I can get up early. Night!! 

Long time no post!

I haven't posted in FOREVER! We went to Disney with Scotty. My mom drove down with me. We had a great time. It was definitely worth the drive. The kids loved it especially Caroline. She asks me daily when we can go back! She has started back at school. She doesn't like when i leave but when I pick her up she is fine and happy. I can't believe this is our last year at MDO and kindergarden starts next year. I can barely think about it. 

Tomorrow I am shooting at a wedding with a friend. We have been planning it for a few months now so I am really excited. Yesterday Kelly's hairdresser and I talked and i am going to do her families pictures and she is going to blow up a huge one and put it in her studio with my cards which I need to get printed. That will be awesome advertising for me! I am going to probably do the other girl that works their too. I am really excited. I am starting to get some steady business. 

We are going to meet with my friend Robin today and go bowling. I haven't done that in forever. So I  went to the Dr about the infection on my leg and i am on 2 different medicines and creams. Hopefully my leg won't fall off!! Hope everyone has a great day!

Busy busy!

Haven't posted in awhile. Its been crazy around here! WE have our floors down we just have 2 doorways to do. Every time I clean there seems to be MORE dust. Its annoying. I stayed up til 1 cleaning. I am pooped today bc I got up at 645 not to mention the oh 4 times I got up with Hunter who is old enough to be sleeping through the night and the 1 time I got up with Caroline. But I do like my little quiet times with them at night. I love snuggling up to them and smelling them. They smell like lavender and fabric softener lol. I seriously have the most snugly kids ever.
Caroline started school Tuesday. She has a great class. She was nervous for me to leave. She got teary eyed. I did too lol. This is her 4th year and I still get sad. I dread kindergarten. But she was so cute coming out after school. They do a pick up line and she had her backpack on and was smiling. It really jerked my heart! :) Its been nice to have some alone time with Hunter and some quiet around the house bc he is NAPPING!! We are going to go for a walk when he gets up. Yesterday they were wild! We had been at my in laws the night before and they got really wild there and it continued into the next day. Hunter crawled up the babygate and was standing in the middle of it. Thank goodness Caroline was there to call for me. Guess the gate is pointless. Then he stood in his high chair. We have to get a new one bc it doesnt have a seatbelt. And somehow he set the sirens off on the alarm lol. He was messing with the window and it went off. He was terrified.
We are thinking about going to Disney with Scotty next week. I think we are going to go. Its super expensive! But I really want to go and we have a chance to have a free hotel in the park bc Scotty has to go for work. So I think we are going to go. Why not!

So not cool....

I am so not cool anymore. Not that I ever was cool before but now I am officially uncool! I was in my car, my van actually, rocking out. I was playing invisible drums on my steering wheel and even did a little guitar and headbanging but gentle headbanging bc I am older now and it makes me dizzy. See I am uncool. Hunter is in the back talkin away. Life is good. I look over and there are 3 high school girls in some sporty little coupe. They were looking at me and when I looked over they busted out laughing as did I. lol Thats something my mom would do, be that dorky. So I am officially not cool. But I think I am cool and right now my kids think I am the coolest so I am cool! ;)
We are almost done with the floors. We have to finish the doors entrances. We are strting the baseboards to paint. I cant wait to get that ugly color off the wall. We are going to scan Realtracs tonight and just take a peek. Maybe.... I wish.....but I know I will have to wait a year. I am so ready for it to be fall. I am ready for football and fires and Halloween and jeans and all that excitement I feel when fall starts. I love fall. C baby starts school next week. I am ready so I can workout when she is in school.
I am going to have to start doing some stuff for myself this fall. I am feeling a little burnt out or just not myself in some ways bc I have done nothing to focus on me really. Its so easy to be a mom and forget about yourself. And no one will even notice. I definitely need some me time. I really want to work on finding a church for our family this fall. I have 2 in mind. I really want my family to have that and myself. I am a better person when I make my decisions "god" based. I feel much more secure and safe when i feel like God is beside me and in my heart.
I am going to go lay my baby in the bed. I hope everyone has a wonderful night. xoxoxo

Dusty, messy house!

We are still finishing up the floors. They are all down but we have a closet to do and the entrances to the door. my bf Kelly's dad is helping us get that part done. There is no furniture and saw dust everywhere and the kids are worn out. Its been super loud here. I am definitely tense and ready for it to be over. I am proud of Scotty for doing such a great job though. He has never done it and I am impressed. WE have the baseboards to paint and then the walls. Ugh! We were going to finish out our upstairs but I think we might look into moving in a year. I WISH WISH WISH sooner.
This weekend we have my brother and sister in laws wedding reception. They got married in FL and we didn't get to go. That should be a lot of fun! :)
Caroline is on her way to genius town. lol She was playing with ABC's on the fridge and she was looking for a G. I didn't know she knew what a G was really. But she pulled almost every letter off the fridge and said this is a, t, y, d, etc. There were only a few she didn't know. She has been recommenced by her teachers and stuff to apply to some of the magnet schools. I think we might try. I need to definitely work with her some so we will see. Hunter is cruisin now. He is moving a little bit back and forth between stuff. He has been sleeping WAY better now that his first 2 teeth came in. I Am ready for the weekend! Have a great night!

Queen of the Miter Saw!

We have been so busy! We laid our hardwood floors! It was wild! We had fun doing it though. It was pretty good once we got going. They look amazing. We are going to start painting the baseboards today. Hopefully we will have painted and finished the living room by the weekend. My inlaws were really great about helping us with the kids. The house is a wreck. I kinda uh threw in the towel cleaning this week lol. But I love using all my manly tools working. It was nice to do something other than cleaning. I love projects! I can't wait bc we have a few more planned. We are going to do the kitchen after we finish the living room. I want to have it all done by Hutners birthday because I want to have his party here. But I am totally exhausted. I can barely keep my eyes open as I am typing!
Anyway, the kids are better now. I was really worried about Caroline. I thought we were going to have to take her to ER. She just had a constant fever. It was scary. But its gone and she is back to normal. Hunter had 2 teeth finally come in on the bottom. Sweet. :)
I guess I am going to drag myself from this chair and work on cleaning. Have a great day everyone! :)
