I got these off a friends blog. These are some questions I asked Caroline.

1. What is something I always says to you? I love  you. ( that is sweet I thought she was going to say stop changing clothes lol)
2. What makes me happy? when I do what she says
3. What makes me sad? when hunter pinches me
4. How do I make you laugh? tickle her
5. What was I like as a child? i put frogs in my pockets lol
6. How old am I? i don't know (which is intentional)
7. How tall am I? 40 inches 
8. What is my favorite thing to do? do stuff with me and hunter
9. What do I when you're not around? wait for me to come back
10. If I become famous, what will it be for? cause i was good at doing it
11. What am I really good at? taking pictures and cleaning my room for me
12. What am I not very good at? playing shutes and ladders
13. What do I do for a job? take care of me and hunter
14.What is my favorite food? salad
15.What makes me proud of you? cleaning my own room and doing a good job at school
16. If I were a cartoon character, who would I be? tom from tom and jerry 
17. What do we do together? have fun
18. How are we the same? because we both love card games
19. How are we different? because I have princess dresses and you don't
20. How do you know I love you? because your mommy and you kiss and hug me al the time
21. What do I like most about daddy( scotty)? because he helps me in the yard

Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday 12 late!

1.  The kids are nicely playing together and no one is yelling or screaming or pinching. I mean its really quiet so they must being something they aren't supposed too. lol

2. I am really really really ready to finish the project in the backyard. Its taking longer than expected and its a lot harder than I thought it would be. We are so closed to being finished just piecing the rocks together to make them fit perfectly is HARD! 

3. Here comes the noise and the MOMMMMMYYYYYY HUNTER PINCHED ME!!!!! I think its time for nap time!

4. I have a 5 year old going on 16 in my house. She is sassy and she knows EVERYTHING! I think she thinks that she is in charge. And if she gets any prissier I might go nuts! She changes clothes at least 4 times a day and has to have matching jewelry for everything. She wants to wear her play makeup. And it looks so bad. lol But I am glad that she is so confident that she doesn't seem to notice. she is loving her kindergarten camp. She is doing really well at the top of her class. She is making lots of friends. I was really depressed about her going to kindergarten which I still am but she's doing so well. I am very proud of her. 

5. Hunter is all about some daddy. Its very sweet. He is my little nature boy. He has his own mower and wheelbarrow and gardening tools. Whenever the hubby is home he wants to be outside with his daddy. I love it. He is talking like crazy and he is SOOO active. He is all over the place. I can barely keep up. And boy does he pinch. I can't get him to stop! 

6. I am on starting to go baby crazy. I started to have dreams of babies. I think I am ready or close to ready for another one. 

7. I am looking forward to golfing with the hubby on Friday and then date night Friday night! woo hoo! Maybe #6 might not be a want after that! ;)

8. I am embarrassed to admit I just bought my 4th book in the House of Night series. I can't stop reading them. I read all the Twilight and all the Sookiehouse series. 

9. I am listening to the Rescues and they are just awesome!

10. My husband just sent me a text saying he bought me some anti insect granules for my hydrangeas. he is such a romantic lol.  In the back yard I have huge beds and in one of my beds I have a 3 HUGE Leland's and 2 river birch. And like 10 hydrangeas. I have 2 in pots lol. They are my favorite. I am becoming a landscaping JUNKIE! I sit and read on it at night and look at flowers at night.

11. We need rain. Its way to humid. I need a reason to just lay around for a day and not leave the house. 

12. Caroline just came walked into my room in her second outfit for the day and is setting up a tea party for us. Oh excuse me a diet pepsi party.

Holy Burnt!!!

Yesterday we got our little pool out and all the bike and our big ball sprinkler for the kids. I was laying out with my sunscreen on and I guess bc I haven't gotten sun all year and with the kids rubbing up against me it wiped some of it off. I have big splotches off burnt areas. It hurts! I made the hubby put aloe on me last night. But the kids had so much fun. THey  played outside all day long. They were pooped at bedtime. 8pm didn't come fast enough for them! lol

My cousin is still here. Caroline loves her being here because she will sit there and watch her change into princes dress after princess dress. She had her sitting in her room listening to her sing some song she made up lol. 

I went to the best bridal shower Saturday for my very dear friend Julie. It was so sweet and I absolutely love her family. Her mom and I do zumba together and I am good friends with her and her older sister. I love them. I am so excited to shoot her wedding for her! 

Well we are off to zumba and to the park! Hope everyone has a great day!!

TGIF!

SOOO glad its Friday! We have had to getup really early for Caroline's new kindercamp and I am not used to getting up THAT early lol. Its been really nice though bc I hit the gym and then get all my stuff done early. But I am definitely missing my sleep! My cousin is in town this weekend which is very nice. I am crossing my fingers that she moves to Nashville! Tonight we went and got Mexican. Its nice to see her. It reminds me of growing up. My moms family is from Louisville and seeing her reminds me of our weekend trips to Louisville riding in the back of my moms station wagon with wood grain on the sides lol. Listening to the stone,the beatles, mamas and papas, janis joplin hence my wonderful taste in music as an adult lol. My granny who I loved so much and think of all the time lived in this little house and she collected buttons and did a lot of puzzles. She read all the time. Probably why I like to read so much and read a couple books a week lol. She was so amazing. She had 3 sisters and they all lived close and we all got together all the time. Louisville always feel like home to me. Being with my cousin always brings back a flood of good memories and love. 

I am going to drag my butt to bed and read and hopefully fall asleep early! I am going to post my new wedding rings. Excuse the bad pic. And my ugly man hands. Its not my fault I blame the yard work lol. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Spoiled......

yes I am. My husband has really been spoiling me and somehow I talked him into getting me a new wedding ring lol. I will post pics tomorrow when I get it! I love my hubby. He is the best! I am a lucky girl! And spoiled!!!

Hunter got a haircut yesterday. Its very cute I will post some pics of him. HE WAS AWFUL while getting it cut. It was just downright embarrassing! He is such a mess! He is the sweetest/biggest pain ever! lol I swear he says mommy 200 times a day and that's being nice about it! He says it over and over and over! He pinches and love slaps. He drools on me. He head butts me. Tonight I can even say he got poop on me. But he is a mamas boy. And just seeing his little face makes me smile! He is so happy and just so affectionate and sweet. HE definitely has the key to my heart!

My friends Justin and Rachel had their baby last night. Caroline is in love. We went and she held him and that is all she has talked about all day. Its amazing to me that someone so little can be so maternal and loving. I was definitely not that way when I was 5. She is so gentle and kind and loving. I am so proud of her. She is just getting to big to fast. And she is a big shopper. We went to Gymboree for the 2nd time this week and she knew exactly what to do. She walked right up to a rack and was looking for her size and picking all her own stuff out. Spoiled. I don't have any idea where she gets it!!!  Hope you all had a great day!!! My kindergarten camper!

Today was Caroline's first day of her kindergarten readiness camp. I was so sad to see her go. I am a big baby. When I picked her up her teacher stopped me to tell me that she was a teachers dream and was the most advanced in her class. She said she was definitely ready for kindergarten and she was so polite and had the best manners. My first thought was who my child????? lol This morning she laid on her floor screaming and crying bc she was so tired. It was a glimpse into the teenage years for sure! But I was so proud of her and proud of myself bc her teacher said my husband and I had a done a wonderful job. I take ALL the credit myself!!! I am excited for her. She is very excited after going and can't wait to go again!

This weekend we worked our butts off. Scotty really worked hard. We got 3/4 of the flagstone around our patio. I thought it was easy but we were out at dark with a spot light piecing it together like a puzzle. It was a ton of work!! We are going to work tonight after the kids go to bed. Hopefully we will finish tonight! Caroline wants to have a slumber party and have a fire and roast weenies and mallows. We went to South Branch yesterday and the hubby bought me another hydranaga. I can't stop buying them! lol We went all over and got new flowers to hang in our baskets on the front the back were already done. 

Well my pics are in order backwards but there is some of our work. We are planning a quick getaway next week I think just the 2 of us. We are going to a golf resort. I am very excited. We don't get much alone time with 2 kids so this is exciting for us! We are still looking for a beach house for this summer so if anyone knows of any great ones let me know!! I am going to enjoy a few moments of quiet time. I say that then I know I am going to get up and go do something lol! Hope everyone has a great day!!
