Tuesday 12

1. I have been a major blog slacker. I have seriously felt like crapola. I am finally feeling better but I hate to jinx it! I could sleep hours all day. I have never in my life been so tired. Pregnancy is kicking my butt.

2. Today is orientation at Hunter's moms day out. I am really sad about it. I want to take it back now! He really needs it thought bc he is such a HUGE mamas boy. He needs interaction with other kids his own age. And the thought of having 4 hours to myself twice a week does sound fabulous.....

3. Caroline is doing great in school. She is reading all kinds of sentences now. I can spell words that I don't want her to hear and now she can sound them out. So I am going to have to learn pig latin or spanish! SHe has been so busy with all her activities. She is loving her swimming.

4. We had a super long weekend and the hubby was home all weekend. Yesterday we went to Ulta and got some new skin care stuff. The hubby would probably kill me but he is pretty into the wrinkle creams and all that. Its pretty cute. He is going out of town all weekend for a guys weekend in the mountains. I am really looking forward to time with the kids just us.

5. We have been looking at houses. There is so much crap out there. No one takes care of their stuff and yards are tiny. We are pretty limited bc we are trying to stay in our school zone.

6. I want a dog. I have caught the hubby looking at dogs online. I am going to secretly talk to him about puppies in his sleep so maybe he will let us get one. I grew up with dogs and the kids want one really bad. Well Caroline does. Hunter is scared of dogs so more reason to get one so he won't be forever scared of dogs!!

7. I am ready for the fall. THe weather keeps teasing us with cool weather then warm.

8. I noticed a a few kids weren't at school today bc of the Obama speech in school. I am just glad Caroline is in kindergarden and I don't have to deal with that stuff this year. Hopefully he will be impeached before she is in 3rd grade! lol

9. I have got to get caught up on my laundry. I really have been lazy. I could crawl into bed right now if I could!! I have been really bad about my domestic duties!!

10. Last week I worked in Caroline's class some. I love her teacher and I love her class. I am so glad thats where she is. Her class is really unlike any other. I can tell she is changing so much. SHe is growing up so fast. She just jumps outta the van every morning and marches right into school like its no big deal. It still tears at my heart.

11. She has a loose tooth. I want to pull it out so bad!!! She already has 2 teeth coming in. But her tooth is so loose it would barely take anything to yank it out.

12. Well I must get ready to take HUnter to his orientation. I hope I don't cry. I am not even leaving him! But the pregnancy hormones are intense!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Tuesday 12

1. I haven't posted in forever! The Internet has just not been calling my name as much. The bed has been calling my name! I have been so sleepy all I want to do is rest!

2. I had my first appointment with my dr. She is so great. I love Baptist. I am excited to have another baby there. You couldn't pay me to go somewhere else!! I had an ultrasound at my visit and got to see the little bean moving around. It was sweet. Now my sister in law and I have the exact same due date lol. So there are going to be 2 babies born in the same week probably!

3. I got a letter in the mail yesterday from Hunters new teachers. Now I want to take it back and not send him. He is wild and driving me nuts but he is so sweet and little. But of all kids who need a moms day out he does!! He is a mamas boy big time. He is going to have such a hard time when I go in to have this baby. I am excited for him but really sad he won't be here. Its only 2 days a week for 4 hour hours which is nada but still! He is the baby!

4. Caroline is doing great in school. She knows almost all her states, her continents, her vowels. She is reading like 30 or so words. She is reading whole sentences! It totally blows my mind! I am so proud of her!

5. Yesterday she started swim classes. There is only one other kid in her class so its a lot of 1 on 1 learning. She really liked it! She is going twice a week to that. With all her stuff I swear I am driving like an extra 100 miles a week! Its something almost everyday!

6. This weekend we had a fire in our fire pit and grilled out on it. It was a lot of fun. The kids really liked it.

7. I have been a major slacker around the house. I have barely been doing laundry lol. I had to spend the day catching up. I just don't have the energy to do it!! I think I need a full time maid!

8. Last night at dinner Caroline said you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. I thought that was just great! But I had made homemade meatballs and spaghetti. I made the sauce homemade and everything. She didn't like it. So that's where that comment came from. Of course I ended up making her something else bc I thought it was so sweet.

9. My son has been walking around nonstop with his hand in his diaper. If he can get it off it comes off. He loves his pee pee. He talks about it all day. C never did that kinda stuff sooooo.... yeah. I am left to wonder how I can have 1 child who is pretty calm and obedient and one who is totally wild and crazy and has no fear. Oh and who doesn't listen at all. They are so different! Girls and boys are just so different!

10. They have gotten to be such good buddies its so sweet. Hunter tells me all day sissy school (cool). When we go to pick her up he says yay!!!! They have been playing so well together. She still totally smothers him and tries to baby him which he is not having lol. But they have really been playing. It makes me just smile! :)

11. I can't believe its already September! I am almost out of my first trimaster! Hunter is going to be turning 2. Christmas and all the holidays are coming. I am so ready for the fall!!

12. My friend posted that kids need attention every 4 minutes and I guess my 4 minutes of blogging are up! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Ramblings......

I have had a crummy day. I felt terrible and made it worse by not eating. I was changing Hunter's diaper and the smell hit me and barf!!! He was sweet bc he was standing next to me saying ouch mommy. lol Just not a good day! I swear I haven't been sleeping because I have had crazy dreams of talking kittens and Eric Dane lol. I have my first drs app next week. I can't wait. I am so excited!!


Yesterday we had lunch with Caroline. It was really nice. Her teacher has asked me t work in her class once a week so I am. I love it. I love being around the kids. They are adorable. She had horseback riding yesterday too. She is so brave. I am just totally surprised she has no fear over the horse. I am so proud of her. She has been reading all her words from school. It amazes me how much she has learned in 2 weeks.

Hunter starts MDO Sept 10. I can't believe its time. I want to not send him now! lol But he will do well. He needs it. He is such a bad little pincher and sharer. He needs the interaction. He has been such a mamas boy lately. He isn't the most snuggly sometimes and he has been so snuggly. I love it. I can't believe he isn't going to be the baby anymore. Well he is always my baby lol.

Well I am off to get in bed. I am watching the octomom special. She is certifiably crazy. I feel so bad for her kids. Hope everyone is having a good week!

Pooped...

I could fall asleep right now. I was up off and on all night with Hunter because he has a fever. He woke up once and was wide awake. He was pitiful. He was shaking and on fire! I rocked him so long I fell asleep. I brought him in the bed but he was kicking and talking and saying daddy. lol He seems better today but still has a fever. I could never run around like that if I had a fever!! We are totally out of the loop this week. So unorganized and the house is messy. I hate it. I can't function that way but with me getting sick and then Hunter, can't get much done. He is laying in my lap right now asleep! Poor kiddo!! I am off to snuggle with my burning hot baby!

Caroline started her horseback riding. She is a total natural. She got right and just naturally did everything right. They didn't even have to lead her on a line bc she figured out how to do everything and rode around on her own. She was right at home there with all the animals. I was so proud of her. She keeps asking if its time for her next lesson. lol I am like once a week kiddo! It was the perfect thing for her to do.

Yesterday I was sick. I got in bed at 8:30 am and pretty much slept off and on until this morning. I feel a lot better. Hunter is sick now. He has a fever and poops. Poor kid! Now my house is a wreck! I can tell I am the only one that cleans around here lol. The hubby made a minute effort in the kitchen last night and said sad I don't know where my the soup goes in my own house. lol Well I say yes it is and I think he should clean more especially bc he is actually pretty good for a guy! lol

The hubby has made Hunter OBSESSED with airplanes. This weekend we went to this mini airport for these massive remote control airplanes that are like 2 grand or something crazy like that. The hubby has some. I was laying on the bed with Hunter early this morning and the hubby said hi to Hunter and the first thing he said was "pane fly". My father in law and all the guys had their planes out this weekend and Hunter was down there like one of the guys. Lovin it! Ok I am off to clean!!! Hope everyone has a great day!

Sorta Wordless Wednesday

Girls night out!!

Caroline and I went to go see G force last night in 3 d. We had a great time. She is just so adorable. Yesterday her teacher who i love more and more everyday called my hubby at work. When my hubby called and told me I thought I had missed an emergency call or something. He was calling to get my mother in laws numbers though. He told the hubby that Caroline was one of the smartest kids in his class and how he really loved having her in there. He told my mother in law that she had the most wonderful grand daughter. It was so all so nice I wanted to cry!! She is doing so well in there. She is already walking herself in all alone. SHe looks so tiny with that big backpack on and that big building. I am so proud of her. She is just growing up on me!

Speaking of school I am SO ready for Hunter to start MDO. He really needs it!! lol HE is so wild. He has energy that I don't even know where it comes from ! He is so obsessed with airplanes. We got him a little plastic one yesterday and he carries it all day long. He talks nonstop about his "pane". Also obsessed with our cat who he lays on and she gets really mad. She is the sweetest cat bc she allows these attacks and never hurts him. lol

Last night my friend let me come to her work and get an ultrasound to make sure everything was going well. She is the bomb! We saw the little heartbeat and the baby. It was awesome!! I am so grateful to her!! This weekend we are having a big cookout at the in laws. I am looking forward to it! It should be lots of fun! Well I am off everyone is awake and just starving!!!

Tuesday 12

1. My child is walking herself into school all by herself now! I am so proud of her. Last night while I was painting her nails she told me all her continents. Um, I didn't know all mine lol. She is already learning all her reading words. She is just so the ball. I am so proud of her!

2. I am headed to spin this morning. I haven't gone to the gym since we started trying to get pg in June. So I am going back. I feel like a big lug!

3. Hunter needs to go to school! He needs some major discipline from someone other than me! He is such a bad pincher. And it hurts! I say no and he just acts like I said nothing at all! Punk! But when he says my name in that sweet sing songy voice I love it!

4. Yesterday Scotty took both the kids alone to fly his airplane. They had a lot of fun but I will admit I worried! I am such a control freak but I am working on it!

5. I am so ready to paint my bedroom and put in new carpet! Its old and I hate the color of my room. its so boring! We really need to figure out what we are going to room wide for this baby! Either add on or move. I have no idea what I want to do bc I actually love our house and we have worked hard doing all our projects. So I am at a loss.

6. I might have eaten 3 pancakes from Mcds this morning. They fell into my mouth.

7. I have been napping almost everyday. I have been so sleepy! I could fall asleep right now if I could!!

8. Thinking about going to ATL with the kids adn then to see my grampa maybe next weekend.

9. WEnt to spin today. The month and a half I didn't go definitely not in as good of shape but not that bad. I was paranoid the whole time being pg lol.

10. Caroline's teacher called me today and told me she was a real jewel and how well she is doing. I was very proud. Her teacher definitely rocks!

11. C has a holiday Friday and no school so we are going to the drive in Friday night! I can't wait!!

12. Since I can fall asleep now I am going too!!!

Moody monday!

Yes as of right now I am super moody. I just woke up grumpy! I think the 80 times I peed last night must have made me sleepy today! We had a really good weekend. Saturday we went canoeing with my friend Rach and her kids. Caroline had a blast. All the kids did. They were swimming in the water and splashing around. It was so fun. I was bummed when it was over bc I wanted to keep going! I would totally love to buy one and go every weekend!

Caroline walked herself into school today all by herself! I was so proud. She didn't cry or anything. She was so brave!! Hope everyone has a great week!

Wheeewww!

So I am still needed! She didn't want to walk in alone. lol I took her in and she looked so tiny in her great big ole desk. She looked a little nervous or scared. I couldn't really tell which but she was sad I could tell. Its so hard watching your baby grow up. I am excited for her and all the new and exciting things she is going to get to experience and try. Just a little bittersweet. It was just she and I for so long. Just us girls. When I brought her home from the hospital I couldn't believe someone actually let me take this 5 lbs baby home. I really thought they had to be crazy! I screamed at my mom all the way home bc she was just driving crazy! Driving 20 in a 30 was just to fast! lol I thought my car seat was in right bc a cop installed it but it wasn't lol. I didn't know that yet. Just watching her grow up and being there for every minute! I feel so blessed that my mom helped support me back then so I could stay home with Caroline. She has turned into such a sweet, loving, SASSY, girl. I am so proud. Ok i am going to sign off and have a moment....lol

The rest of tuesday 12

11. I was just informed by my new kindergartener that she can walk herself in the door tomorrow bc she is a big girl. Granted I can pull up and watch her bc her door is right there so I can see her walk in but thats just way to much! She is way to mature now. Everyone else is going to walk in alone she said. Wow.

12. There will be tears tomorrow.

Tuesday 12

1. Caroline had a wonderful day. She loved her teacher and said he was so fun!! She can't wait to go back tomorrow! I am so glad that she has another great role male influence in her life besides Scotty and my father in law and my brother in laws. Someone that isn't family. He is great! 

2. I have major heartburn! Like nonstop all day heartburn and a dull headache. It really sucks. 

3. Tomorrow we are keeping baby Lincoln which should be fun as usual!! He is my friends baby and I love him like family. Being super cute doesn't hurt either!! :)

4. Its going to rain for the next 9 days! I am not sure what is up with this summer but its not like any other summer I can remember!

5. I am so excited that our family is expanding I always wanted to have a big family bc mine is so small so I am really excited about it getting so big and all these babies!!

6. I am really trying to be good about what I have been eating since I gained 100 lbs with Caroline and 65 with Hunter lol. I lost it all but it was HARD work! I definitely don't want to do that again!

7. Laundry..... lots of it.

8. Been reading a lot of good books! Just finished the Hedge Fund Wives which was great!

9. As you can see I am having a hard time focusing lol.

10. This is going to be a short 12 bc I just can't even focus! The pregnancy hormones have just made me a total dingbat!! 

My Big Girl.....

Today was Caroline's first day of school. She went in like an old pro! I am so glad we went to kindercamp bc she wasn't nervous and scared. She just said I am so tired! lol She isn't used to the early waking. I am just amazed at how much she has grown up. I am getting ready to sign her up for fall activities like tennis, horseback riding, and gymnastics. It seems like just yesterday she was going to her 1st day of MDO. 

Hunter is going to miss her so much!

So yesterday my other sister in law called me and she is pregnant too! lol We have almost the same due date and we have the same dr and are going to deliver in the same hospital lol! There will be 3 babies all born in a 5 month span in our family! How crazy!! I am excited for the kids to have such a big family and lots of kids their age!

Relaxing weekend

We are having a pretty relaxing weekend. Last night we went and played 12 holes of golf. I scored a 54 on 9 holes so I was REALLY proud bc I just started playing again. The weather was perfect too! We watched 7 pounds last night. It was so slow the hubby konked out! lol Today I went grocery shopping with Hunter and I will not be doing that anymore. He ate his way through the whole store and screamed. It was bad. I had to laugh though! The hubby has been working on his outdoor back porch project all day. Tonight we are going to Bonefish Grill  and then to the movies. He is going golfing tomorrow and I am going to read and relax all day!! I can't wait! 

Next week is Caroline's first day of school. I am so excited for her bc her teacher is just so amazing. He is hilarious and totally laid back. His classroom isn't all cutesy like all the girls rooms but he really offers so much that I don't even care. This is exactly what she needed for her 1st year!! Hunter is going to be lonely! He starts MDO in September and I am going to be lonely! But he only goes 2 days a week so not that bad!

I have been obsessively taking pregnancy tests lol. My last dr said you can tell that your hcg is raising bc the tests get darker and darker. I was embarrassingly caught yesterday by a friend buying more. lol THis is it though. I swear! Hope everyone has a great weekend! I am going to chill with the fam!!

Preggers!

I made shirts today for the kids to wear to my inlaws. I will post pics. I have literally taken like 15 pregnancy tests. I can't stop. lol I begged the hubby at 10 to let me go get 1 so he could watch it too. He was like ummm thats dorky. But I got my way!!!

 

C had her kindergarten test today. Her teacher is AMAZING! He is not your typical teacher. He wears overalls and does everything a little different than most teachers do it. I love him! I am so excited for Caroline to have him!! Her first day is next week. I am so sad and excited to see her go! But she needs this!! Hunter will be so lonely!

I am........

PREGNANT!!!!!! Really early. Only 4 weeks but we are so excited I can't keep it in!!!! Pray for us to have a healthy baby! :) Thanks for all your guys support!!!!

What a day, what a day!

I am beat. I have had kind of a stressful night and I am ready to get in the bath and soak. Today was good though. hunter and I hung out and I got his little pool out. He loves water. he wouldn't get out. He is such a goofball. he is always doing cute stuff and goofy stuff. He is a constant source of humor! Today we found out who Caroline's new teacher is for kindergarten. I can't believe in a week she starts school full time. I am going to miss her! But her teacher is awesome! I requested him to the principal. The principal was mine when i was a kid and she is friends with my mom. My mother in law used to teach at Northfield so she knew Caroline's teacher and they are buddies so I am just feeling more reassured everyday! I am so glad we are at Siegel bc we have so many friends there and my mother in law knows like every teacher there so that makes it better! I am excited to be on the PTO and be her room mother!! She has her first slumber party tomorrow. I can't believe how grown up she is. 

My hubby came home tonight with a new lcd tv. He said it was for the back porch so I can watch football out there. How sweet. lol I was worried it would get stolen but its bolted to the house. We have a really busy weekend. Tomorrow I have the Duck Derby with Junior League. So if anyone wants to come we will be there working! Its to raise money for the Child Advocacy Center in Murfreesboro. There are going to be some great prizes and lots for the kiddos to do!! Buy your ducks here!! www.duckrace.com/murfreesboro

Groceries!

Are getting so expensive soon it will be a luxury to eat. lol I read that the average family of 4 spends 800 a month. I spend about 125 a week at the store. I go to Walmart and Kroger. I buy all my dry foods at walmart like breakfast bars etc. I buy all my veggies and meat at Kroger. That doesn't include paper towels and cleaning supplies. I used to buy lots of snack foods and cokes but I never buy chips anymore or cookies and stuff like that. If we have cookies I make them homemade and if I get chips they are baked. I get goldfish and pretzels but when my kids eat lunch they usually just eat a sandwich and fruit or yogurt. I really just buy dinner for 6 nights and then things like breakfast bars and fruit snacks. We eat pretty healthy for the most part. I just can't believe how much these things cost now! I have some people in a group I am in and they spend 50 or so a week at the store and I have no idea how they can eat off that! Thankfully there are all these online coupon websites and grocery store deals. I am not as savvy as some of my friends! ;)

Anyway. I am keeping my friends baby today. He is only a few weeks old! He is so cute and I am so excited to get to keep him! I will take some pics and post some later! He is a cutey!!!
